One of the compositions that I think worked really well was the mini cooper image in chapter 9. I liked it because it was a very simple design and layout, the main objects that composed the image was the mini cooper, text explaining the car, and a link to learn more about it. Overall the whole composition of the piece was very nice to look at and I feel like it got people’s attention without giving away too much.
One piece of advertising that I thought resembled the mini cooper ad was the cover for the magazine DuPont Registry. This ad uses the same basic concept as the mini ad by being really simple yet catching the viewer’s attention. By the cover a viewer can tell at what will most likely be in the magazine, but at the same time the cover does not give too much away.
