The ad I found to be the most interesting and effective was the public service announcements about breast cancer and testicular cancer: they inform the audience that they need to get tested with the use of humor injected to get the point across. I find this approach to be effective because 'heavy' ads often can be received less-than-favorably because people do not wish to be offended or to feel bad about something they're looking at leisurely: they'd rather be amused.
Similar to these ads is this ad about speeding: it targets the "nerd" crowd with the Star Wars reference, and uses humor by depicting a stormtrooper speeding. Additionally, this ad addresses the audience head-on, just as the public service announcements in the chapter did.
