Bridget Pasapane Reading Resonse 3


From chapter five the advertisements I found most interesting for Diveo wireless and Childhood asthma environmental protection agency. I liked the use of the wire like crosshatching making images of the snail and turtle, which were deconstructive because I had to read the text to understand the ad fully. The other one I liked because it was more direct with a simple quote and image of the goldfish out of its bowl. The image I chose here is very close to the childhood asthma ad because it is the same concept except this one is for smoking instead. The viewer gets it right away and makes them very uncomfortable which in return is what makes the ad super effective.
