Chapter 2 - Schober

I love the “Eat Mor Chikin” campaign. It’s witty, well executed, and effective. The ad is an outdoor billboard featuring two cows painting the words “East Mor Chikin” onto the canvas. The best part is that if I had never seen the creative brief, I would have gotten the message from the advertisement. The creative brief was designed to make people remember Chick-fil-a as a brand and to persuade them that a chicken sandwich is tastier and healthier than a burger. This ad, by being from the perspective of the cows, automatically steers the viewer towards meat that is not produced from a cow. It knocks out the competitor without saying a word.

This Australian ham ad reminds me of the Eat Mor Chikin ad. The difference is here, the pig is trying to dress up to escape being on the menu, but ham is still being advertised, whereas in the Chick-fil-a ad, the cows are advertising the chicken.
