SMC- TEN49-BridgetPasapane

I have decided to do a social media campaign for Ten49 which is a production company founded by three of my best friends; Vadim Basin, Nick Taseff, and Jeremy Gruszka. These guys do it all, they host, they promote, they even throw down hard and spin their own tracks. As they are looking to expand and continue to grow I feel they are the perfect company to create a social media campaign for. As I have already helped with the aesthetic of the brand itself and contributed to where it is today I am going to use this project as a way to test out website designs, other forms of this campaign I am going to create include; promotional business cards with specials, event flyers, facebook & web advertising, and perhaps app for smartphone. Also; exclusive membership VIP card which gives its members access to the most premiere clubs and events around chicago. Including backstage access, discounts, ability to skip the line, and more. By using foursqare contests can be run that winnings are based on the highest number of check ins at various shows and concerts.

-attached are the two current logo's which were originally designed by me and a friend.

1) What's the challenge?

To create a Social Media Campaign for a production company; including website, advertisements, flyers, and business cards
2) What is the target audience?
music enthusiasts, and people in search of a company to throw the best parties possible. mainly house, trance, dubstep, and electronic genres of music. Targeting a younger generation plus or minus a few music loving advocates of other ages.
3) What does that audience currently think?
They think this the type of music is a way of life, they are in search of a production company to throw a party for them, dj for them, produce a music blog with the latest updates, and much much more.
4) What would we like the audience to feel or think?
They should be furthering their knowledge in music every day, furthering their knowledge not just of music but producing music and party throwing. I want them to feel like the pressure is off when they are throwing a big party and let Ten49 take over and do the rest.
5) What facts or evidence will assist this change in thinking?
A great following of fans, good reviews of previous customers and professional appearance.
6) Brand essence?
loud, "best-time of your life" feel, and informative for everyone in the music community.
7) Key emotions
Should make the users feel excited, anxious, and ready to party.
8) Best media to facilitate this goal?
the website blog of course for the informative end, but mainly the activity on facebook and twitter, wed ads, conetests, and event flyers
9) Key elements and budget?
The blog and facebook will be key in spreading company awareness along with advertisements done on facebook and on similar music websites. Host bars and venues will create revenue along with customers looking to hire for party or venues seeking to hire them as dj's also merchandise will create revenue as well.
10) Single most important takeaway?
hire Ten49 and you wont be dissapointed. No one in Chicago throws down harder then the Ten49 clan.
11) What do we want the audience to do?
To become Ten49 fanatics "repping" the gear, making Ten49 the talk of the town and crew to hire to ensure you have the best time imaginable.

  1. I think this a really cool idea. I really like how you are doing an actual campaign for a real company. I think that all the ideas are great including the line-skip and deals and backstage access. I love the logos as well, the first one is awesome, but the second one might be more universal for all the applications.

  2. This sounds like a really cool concept. You should think about maybe creating an interactive map of where their locations are, and we're their going. You should look into website like poggled.com and mydrinkon.com, because from what I understood from your campaign they do similar things.

  3. I think you need to come up with something that sets you apart from others. Chicago is full of house music and aspiring musicians in general. I think an interactive map would be cool, you just need something different. I feel like I have seen this a million times, you just need to set yourself apart, but you have a good start.

  4. This is cool, but I think you are going to have to strive to be unique. Right now this sounds exactly like Crowdnoize.com, and I'm sure they weren't the first to do it either. Maybe think about how you can exploit the VIP access aspect.
